FAQ
We’ve always loved hiking and traveling—especially the kind that connects you to the land and the people who live there. After years of leading domestic wilderness trips, we wanted to create something more globally focused, where the journey itself becomes the destination. Meadows and Mountains was born from that desire—to share the wonder of walking through ancient landscapes with others.
Our trips are small, thoughtful, and deeply personal. We don’t do mass tourism. Each itinerary is handcrafted, with a focus on authentic local partnerships and meaningful moments. Whether we’re hiking through the Andes or walking the coastal trails of Italy, we build in space for reflection, joy, and connection—both with nature and the culture around us.
We currently offer guided trekking adventures in Peru, with a special emphasis on the Sacred Valley and Andean communities. In late 2026 – 2027, we’re expanding to include Ireland’s Dingle Way and sections of the Amalfi Coast in Italy. Each destination has been chosen for its beauty, cultural richness, and walking heritage.
Our trips are for people (ages 12 and up) who want to travel with intention. You don’t need to be an elite athlete—just open-hearted, curious, and excited to engage with the world on foot. We work with solo travelers, couples, families and small groups who want a deeper, more soulful adventure.
These are more than hikes and tours —they’re experiences. You’ll be walking, yes, but also eating incredible local food, talking with community members, and experiencing the rhythms of place. It’s a chance to unplug and tune in to something bigger than yourself.
